I have an FT-301D available which has one modification and one problem...

First, the modification: When I got the rig the display was inoperative 
so I bought and installed one of the Almost All Digital Electronics 
(AADE) DFD-2 LCD displays. Since this display is larger than the 
original LED unit I had to cut the plastic escutcheon to accommodate the 
new display. It's not real pretty but it does work The display is not 
one of the backlit units but under normal lighting conditions it is very

Second, the problem: At some point in this rig's life some of the 
toroids on the filter board got "toasted". There is easily noted damage 
to some of the toroids and the power output on 20 and 15 meters is only 
about 30 watts. I have made no attempt to make repairs since I use the 
rig on 160, 80 and 40 almost exclusively. On those bands and 10 meters 
operation is perfectly normal.

Otherwise the rig is in very good condition and comes with an old Yaesu 
hand mic (may not be the original), CW filter, DC cord and technical 
manual copy. I have had excellent results on 160, 80 and 40, primarily 
in contests, using an inverted-L and verticals. I am asking $125.00 plus
