[Yaesu] FT-1000D paint

Do any of you have a pointer or tip for touch-up paint for an FT-1000D?  
My 13 year old FT1kD has developed a chip right on the top edge of the 
front panel above the display - first one in all that time.  It would 
take just a dab to fix it up.  Have any of you discovered an automotive 
(or other) paint that matches?  The front panel is painted a dark 
charcoal color with very tiny metallic highlights - somewhat different 
from the main cabinet itself.
