[Yaesu] Attention FT857/857D owners

Joe,

The FT-857 and FT-857D DO NOT have a built-in antenna tuner. The 
available automatic tuners for them are the FC-30 and FC-40, neither of 
which can be mounted internally.

Your friend is mis-reading the manual.
