Greetings all -- As I've done many times before I was using external power to monitor for ARES exercise while using main rig for comm.  After I withdrew the external power connector the HT would not power up.  Yes, the battery is fully charged.  I usually withdraw the ext. power connector with the HT off.   Maybe I didn't this time.  Could that be it????  (It works just fine with the external power).  Tried alternating with external and battery power several times.  No change. No "workee"!!

Any thoughts?   Could it be the contacts on the ext. power recept. have collapsed and won't reconnect  to the battery?   That's my guess -- but how does one repair if that's it??  (Make it simple)!

All help will be very much appreciated.

BTW it's the best HT I've ever owned/operated before or since it's purchase!
