[Yaesu] FT-7800 burp on keyup

I have a four day old FT-7800 which transmits a short
burp of less than a second as soon as the mike is
keyed and before talking commences. Sometimes it is
recognizable at my end by a slight lag between the
transmit bars on the display and when the TX icon
appears. At the receiving end it sounds as though a
capacitor is being discharged.

This seems to occur only for a short time after turn
on, but I am not sure about this. When it happens, it
does not do it on every transmission.

This may not be worth worrying about. Just wondering
whether anyone else has ever experienced this.
