[Yaesu] Wanted QST review on FT-1000 MK 5 Field

Hi, 

I am an ARRL member, and I enthusiastically urge all those 
who care about the future of ham radio to join up.  

That said, I have to say that QST product reviews are VERY 
weak.  Some say that's because QST is afraid of offending 
advertisers.  That may, or may not, be the reason.  But you 
will rarely learn the good, bad, and ugly from a QST review.  

The eHam.net reviews will give you a much better idea what's 
up with a given piece of gear.  You won't get quantitative 
measurements from eHam.net, and you won't get literate 
writing (for the most part).  But you WILL get honest inputs 
about bugs and problems that you will never, ever find in QST.
