[Yaesu] Pop goes the Yaesu!

I was shifting my Yaesu FT8500 radio in the shack while it was on.  Bad
plan!  I moved it less than an inch and there was a faint pop and the power
went off.  My first thought was the fuses, no such luck.  There is 13.8v at
external connector.  Fuses (two in power line near supply, one on the radio
side of the T shaped connector) are all good.

I opened it up - both covers and did not see anything obviously smoked.
Nothing smells smoked either.

The rig will not power up, either from the button on the FS10 "potato" mic,
or the front panel button.

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to look at this problem?

 Barring suggestions on where to look for the problem to repair it myself,
 any recommendations for repair facilities would be appreciated.
