[Yaesu] FT 920problem

Hello everybody,

my FT 920 (7 years old) has developed the following problem:

when switched on, the DSP-LED-button (the one right under the SHIFT
control and right next to the big DSP control) blinks and there is no
audio. It is also impossible to transmit. However, the S-meter seems to
be indicating that the transceiver does receive signals (which I cannot
hear, see above). The blinking of the DSP disappears if I change the
mode to SSB, however there still is no audio.

The transceiver developed this problem over the last months. The
blinking of the LED-DSP button used to disappear a few seconds to a few
minutes after switching on the transceiver. However, now the problem
stays.

A soft and hard reboot don't help.

Anyone know this poblem and a cure for it?
