Ken,
I have noticed a few people selling the necessary crystals,
wiring harness and switch, with directions on E-Bay.
Look under FT-101 from time to time.
Good luck

Hi gang,

Does anyone have the details for adding 12, 17 , & 30m bands to the FT-101F?

Thanks,

Ken - WA4MNT

Subject: [Yaesu] FT-1000 S meter measurements

FT-1000 <no suffix> and FT-1000D owners:

I measured the calibration of my FT-1000 S meter
and posted the results at:

http://www.n6rk.com/FT1000_S_meter.doc

also see:

http://www.n6rk.com/S_unit_definitions.doc

(You probably need Word to view these).

I use these charts when I give out signal reports.
Although the measurements were done on 14 MHz,
a spot check of other bands showed that there is
very little variation with frequency.

If you have measured your FT-1000, let me know
how your results agree or disagree with my sample
of one.

Rick N6RK
