[Yaesu] Help !!!!

I'm just buy a FT-990 from yaesu now I'm have also a cat Interface.
and the nost programs Wl and Swisslog don't  see the FT-990 because it =
is een ROM 1.2=20
So can someone tel me what this mean ROM 1.2 ???
and How can I'm upgrade it or is this not possiblle ??
