I saw an SP-6 with the 59Y go for $496 on e-Bay yesterday.... Either the
SP-5 or SP-6 with the 59Y is going to bring a premium price on e-Bay... the
SP-5 slightly higer.

Hi Fern -

I bought my SP-5 new, for around $160, I think.
You can easily check the new prices. My rule of
thumb is that mint used should go for about 2/3 of
the new price, with increasing discounts for decreasing
condition.

I believe that 59Ys are still in demand, and are NOT
available new; in fact, they are close to collector items,
price wise. I'd be embarrassed to tell you what I paid
for mine. I suggest that you do an eBay Search on
Completed Auctions for the 59Y, and see what you
come up with. That is probably the most accurate
and versatile appraisal tool known to mankind.
My WAG is that you'll come up with numbers in
the $200 to $300 range; but I haven't checked lately.

If you bundle the two of them together, I would expect
a slight discount from the prices separately, 'cause
not all buyers would want both.
