There is no problem on replacement driver for the 940 ..... I have fixed over (20)
940 using 2SC1969 Mitsubishi Transistors. You can buy them for $2.50 Each..... The
key is you must use a 18 volt regulator to feed them. An inexpensive 2 amp fixed
regulator from ST microelectronics does the job .....the 2SC1969 work perfect and are
superior to the MRF485 .....If any one want there 940 Repaired ....I am the guy to do
it ....I work on them all the time !!
