Hello Marty,
That is not true. From FL-7000 you can reach about 700 Watts output. I use
this amplifier for several years and that was maximum power with good
antenna. Maybe there are modification to make higher power from FL-7000, but
I do not know about them.

I am able to get 1200 Watts but it is from Quadra amplifier....
