[Yaesu] 8100 Display problem.

I came out today and found that my FT-8100 now displays Chl -x on both 
sides. the sides are marked as U and L and I cannot change them.  The 
repeater settings appear to function normally but the display informations 
is lost.

Do I need to reset everything>>>>Can I save the information with the ADM 
program.  (I will purchase it if it will help) or am I up the proverbial 
creek without my paddle??
