If the processor is similar to the FL101/FT101E it is almost a clone of
the G3LLL clipper pioneered

as an external add on for the earlier FT101 series.

It is an very good RF. clipper, easily set up and acceptable on air.

I leave mine permanently on in my FL101 MK2. TX.

My FT101B, up to a HT. diode short in summer 2003 (now being sorted) is
still fitted with original PA. tubes,

fitted nearly 30 years ago thanks to the G3LLL clipper limiting power down
but with a degree of clipping

which keeps up the average modulation and is acceptable on 80 for inter "G"
working.

IE. lower power but higher duty cycle.

Does any one know the equivalent of the 10D10 silicon recs. in the HT.

Some late night reading found the 1N4007 , but the slightly larger BY127 has
a higher PIV. of 1250. ?

A belated happy new year ,

73 de Graham G3XYX.
