well .. for 2�� smackaroos, they have the ALL the sides of the box .. when's
the last time you got more better reception/transmission using cardboard?

| I got my FT 897 a few weeks back and now want to send in the rebate
| form.  It says to include the "bar code from the gift box" - would that
| be the strip labeled "UPC" on the outer box?  There are 3 bar codes on
| the outside of the box, the one in the middle is labeled UPC, top is
| labeled "ean / jan" and the bottom one is the serial number.

| measures 17 x 13 x 3.5 inches.  has a carrying strap
| on it.  The main compartment will hold an Icom 730,
| Kenwood TS130, or similar radios, plus smaller radios.

| couple of smaller compartments in it also, which are
| perfect for power cords, microphones, keyer paddles,
| etc.  It made a very nice carrying case for everything
