Thanks for all who responded. I appeciate the suggestions, and have checked
out each of them. But, so far the problem still persists. It makes sense
that it could be related to an unlock condition.

I disconnected all external interface connections and did a CPU hard reset
and all is still the same. I suspect I have a component going bad. I have
sent Yaesu an E-Mail describing the problem, but have not received a
response yet.
