[Yaesu] FT-one

I have a Yaesu ft-one with the following symptoms:
receiving on all modes except AM I get just a hum from the
speaker, I do get the normal hissing noise on AM.
The frequency display after a relatively small period of time will start 
to blink, however the frequency does change when turning the dial knob. 
It originally had a fault in the voltage regulator for the PLL ocillator 
VCO1  22-22.9Mhz on the Local Board, but I am fairly sure that is now ok.
Can anyone suggest a possible area to look for the problem
please??
