Hi Randy -

You inspired me to dig into my FT-1000D Service Manual
for the first time.  According to that document, the PA
transistors are:  Two (2) push-pull MRF422 (Yaesu p/n
G3090059).  They are driven by two (2) push-pull MRF 486.
