[Yaesu] FT-817 won't detect internal battery

Ah, Floyd put me on the right track.  First, I already have a fuse in 
line with the battery positive lead, but it did not blow.  However, I 
found out that there is an SMD 3 amp fuse in the line on the circuit 
board, not in the schematic.  Go figure.  Replaced the SMD with a small 
discrete fuse and all works fine now.
