[Yaesu] NEED: FP-29 Power Supply

My supply failed about 2 months ago.  Sent it in to Yaesu for repair (It was 
only 18 months old).  After 8 weeks, waiting for a part, the tech says the 
unit in "non economical" to repair and that I should "buy a new one from a 
dealer".  I haven't talked to them yet ... just got the E-mail from customer 
"service" last night.  Last time I checked the dealer price on an FP-29 was around 
$500 .... Doesn't make a lot of sense to me!

Anyway, anyone have a source for an FP-29?
