[Yaesu] FT-920 readout slow to appear...

I have had three FT 920's and using an Alinco DM 330 30A (32A surge) I have
no problems.  Except for RFI on the low end of 160 but the Alinco has a
front panel adjustment so I just move it below the band.

I did have a delay on FT 920 number 2 with a 23A supply that I bought from
Radio Shack.Com when they were in business...its the exact same supply as
the Yaesu small supply.  The delay was 3 seconds. I moved the little Samtec
unit to power my 2 meter 45 W FM rig and also to replace several wall warts
that I was using to power lights and my watt meter.

I looked on the WM7D Yaesu page (he uses the 920 as his main home station
rig.  Its not noted as a problem.   Maybe someone could ask Yaesu/Vertex
Standard as the 920 is still a current production transceiver.
