Depending on your budget, an older rig such as the FT901DM (preWARC)  and 
FT902DM ( WARC) are terrific tube-final rigs for cw and ssb in the $300-400 
range. Plus they just keep on going and going....  And nothing else needed for cw 
lovers...built in keyer/audio peaking filter for cw .
