I think you can disable the WX-channels in the set-up.

Attn VX2 Owners:

Got the VX2R micro-rig on October 23. Quite a difference from my Alinco
DJ580T.  Here are my questions:

1. When scanning, the rig will scan through the weather frequencies and
resume scanning the selected range.  How did you stop this glitch?

2. Is there programming software available for this radio??
