[Yaesu] FT-857 Key Jack dead

I have had 2 Yaesu FT-857s in a week. The first one quit transmitting throught 
the key jack. I was tuning at 5 watts into a Heathkit 2060 tuner. The SWR was 
flat. I was transmitting a CW signal and tweaking the tuner when the rig just 
stopped sending. I am able to set the keyer mode to the microphone and it 
works just fine but he key jack is just dead. I sent the radio back to the 
dealer who just mailed me another one. The same thing happened again. This 
time the SWR was alittle high but not that high my SGC 2020 was happy to 
finish the tuning. I am feeding the antenna with ladderline. Does anyone have 
any idea what may be going on with these radios? I am probably going to send 
it back and get something different but would like to know if anyone has any 
knowledge of this type of thing.
