[Yaesu] Yaesu Ft-901DM Problem and Manuals?

I am having the following problems with a Yaesu FT-901DM that I recently
acquired:
1) Recieve Audio often disappears. I have found two ways to get it back:
    a) Power Cycle the Radio
    b) Key the Transmitter
2) The Transmitter also seems to have a similar issue. Alot of the time I
can not get the Resting Cathode Current to rise above zero during the Tune
Up procedure. But then through power cycles or key presses, suddenly it
appears to work properly.

I believe that these two are probably related. I have theorized that the
Transmit/Recieve switch circuitry (relay?) is not properly actuating, and
is getting stuck, possibly even between states. However I don't have all
the proper documentation to confirm or deny this. (Shoot without tracing
the circuit, I don't even know where the Transmit Recieve switch circuitry
IS! I only have a partial copy of the FT-902 manual)

Does anyone have a copy of the User or Service manual for this radio? I
know I can order them online from various sources... But $30 is half my
repair budget for the radio. I'd really like to get it on the air, it was
given to me from another ham so I could get on HF, but so far I haven't
even been able to listen for more then a couple of minutes without the
Audio disappearing.

Also if anyone has a suggestion on my specific problem I'd be apperciative..

Thanks and 73's,
Matthew Schiller
