[Yaesu] Am I missing something ??

Having received no comments/info etc, I have decided to re-send the
following message ,I have again gone over the manual and still find no
solution,hopefully someone will be able to help.

I wanted to practice receiving code so I fired up the ft-857  navigated to
the CW TRAINING MODE,set everything up and pushed the button to start the
session.
A 5 character code was generated,the code stopped  and the characters were
displayed on the screen. OK so far .
I waited and waited for it start again but  it did not until I pushed the
button again and the whole process was repeated.

PLEASE tell me I have missed something and that there IS a way to get
CONTINUOUS operation.

I feel that I MUST have missed something or YAESU has created one of the
stupidest design blunders in an otherwise flawlessly designed  (in my
opinion) radio.

In this case I will be happy to be the stupid one.
