[Yaesu] MARK V FILTER SELECTION

Hi to all
 Have a markV ,with all the ssb filters installed. The YF-110SN in the 3RD IF, the yf-114sn in the 2nd IF. Went to menu 5.0 and read the setup,or selection, and find it somewhat confusing. 
  Over a period of time, which selection proves to be the best overall choice? Have played with all the possible settings and can't seem to put my finger on it.
