[Yaesu] Multiband VHF/UHF antenna

For six-meter and up (or ten-meter and up) borrow an antenna handbook and
get some PVC pipe. You can make a good LPDA for vhf/uhf with just some
number 10 house wire and some inch and a half PVC pipe.
There are many free programs on the net that will do the math for you. My
"Wideband" for one.
For 10 meters you will need tubing elements, but if you ask around you might
find them for the asking or almost free at a hamfest.
The LPDA needs no tuning or magic, make the boom as long as you can turn,
and then run the program until the elements fit the boom and the gain is
what you want.
