[Yaesu] FT1500M

I've got two FT1500Ms.  Something having to do with heck of a price and 
senility.

I've whipped the cloning difficulties but another problem existed 
before.  Attempting to access the weather channels via P4 doesn't 
work.  I get "CH C" and "$.$".  Attempting to reprogram P4 is futile.  
I have succeeded in programming weather channels into P1.

Suggestions?

Next project is to attempt, once again, to get extended transmit 
coverage for MARS.
