[Yaesu] FT-1000

Can someone advise me, as to what an FT-1000 (no D, no MP) worth?  I have
one that a friend of mine who has gone to assisted living needs to sell.  It
was purchased around 1993 and was working when he left it.  In fact, he had
sent it in recently for minor repairs.
I set it up here and it seems to be OK, however I didn't use it long enough
to become very familiar with it.  I need to take it to a hamfest or
something and I need to know its value.  Thanks!
