AH Yes!!! Florida Flicker and Flash Power Company ( FPL)...
Remember them well from when I spent 10 years in North Miami. 
Besides power outages, they were feeding me 130 VAC and would
not drop it down to 110 or 120 VAC.  I argued with them for
years to no avail..

The Rural EMC that I now have is wonderful!! No outages and
clean power.

THe series diode is imperative to prevent fires..
