With all tube rigs, start your loading control at 0 and dip your  plate  then 
peak your preselect setting for max power output.  Then increase the Loading 
control  incrementally, and repeat plate dipping and preselect peaking til you 
reach the power output you want. But  you dont have  a 0-200w infinitely 
variable choice.  Strictly depends on the tank circuit and the antenna how low you 
can go

The 102 is a truly outstanding rig.   Im sure youll  enjoy it.  They have had 
a problem with relays becoming intermittent as they age, but well worth the 
repairs to keep a great rig running.
