[Yaesu] Help me figure this out

I can use some help from list members on getting my
FT100D set up for "Psuedo-crossband repeat" mode.
THis will not be true cross-band repeat, because it is
not in real time. Instead, using a simplex repeater
software program and my rigblaster, it will do the
following:
1. Monitor both 50.125 USB and 446.500FM.
2. When the squelch breaks on 50.125, start recording
3. Play back the recorded message on 446.500. This
allows me to hear what station is on 6 meter SSB,
using my HT.
4. Pick up my response on 446.500 and record it.
5. Play back the recorded message on 50.125 USB. This
allows me to answer the station on 6 meters, all using
my HT.
I believe there is a way to do this, I am just having
a mental block on the correct way to get things set
up. Here is what I have tried so far:
Idea #1: Use dual watch to monitor 50.125 and 446.500.
It works ok for receiving, but the recorded message
is always played back on 446.500 FM, regardless of
which frequency broke the squelch.
Idea #2: Set up two duplex memories and scan between
them. Works ok until the rig transmits. Then it
won't start scanning again. I haven't tried
programmable band scan, but assume it has the same
problem. Once it transmits, can't get it to start
scanning again.
So far 2 good ideas, but no luck. So, any other ideas
you can come up with? All ideas will be tried, and
the results posted.
