[Yaesu] FT 857

I recently sent my new FT 857 back to HRO for an exchange because of TX =
audio distortion particularly on six meters............had tried =
everything regarding adjustment but to no avail. My other rigs in shack =
have no ground, SWR, or other problems. I even carried the radio to a =
friends shack to verify the problem. I wasa on six the other night and =
heard a fellow on his 857 that he just got back from Yaesu.....it still =
had the distortion problem abd supposedly they fixed it with a change in =
programming an EPROM. I'm waiting on my "NEW" FT857 and hope there is =
not an inherent problem with the rig........Anyone experience similar =
problems??? Otherwise I love the radio but may give the new one up if =
that too has distorted audio on six!! Thanks =20
