[Yaesu] Dual watch question

Trying to get my FT100D set up in simplex repeater
operation, and I have a question about dual watch.  If
my main frequency is in VFO A, and the secondary
frequency (the one checked every few seconds for a
signal) is in VFO B.  What happens when a signal is
received on VFO A.  If I am getting a signal there,
will the rig still check VFO B every few seconds?  I
believe it will, but can't remember for sure.  

I know that I can check this on the radio, but I am
sitting in the office right now, and the wheels in the
mind are spinning too fast on this new idea to wait
until I get home.
