Hi Cal,

The FRB-757 is an auxiliary keying relay which is inserted in the PTT line
between a transceiver and a linear amplifier. It allows the light-duty relay
in the transceiver to key the amplifier's high-voltage/high-current T/R
relay without risk of contact damage.

I believe that the first Yaesu application was with the FT-757 series and
the FL-2100 series amplifiers. The FRB-757 requires a 12V DC supply, and
will interface most modern amplifiers and transceivers. I would be a little
cautious with older amplifiers with mains voltage on their keying line,
though.
