Hart.....
    I did a Google search for mic pinout for the FT-301 and found the
following:
            Pin 1 = ground
            Pin 2 =  mic input
            Pin 3 =  PTT
            Pin 4 = N/C

    If you look on the plug, you will see the pin numbers stamped on the
black plastic part.

Go to http://home.tbbs.net/shadow/mod_files/148mic.htm for wiring of the
d-104 microphone.

A suggestion.....use the Google search Engine for stuff. It gives great
results.
