I ran into this years ago.
Decided to remedy the situation by installing a standard connector on the=20
rotor and cable; I used a 5 pin (I think) mic connector.
It has been in service for 8+ years, no problem. WX proofed, of course. Had=
=20
to cut out a small aluminum plate to mount the rotor connector in; no big=
deal.
You might also consider a trailer light connector; they are robust for the=
=20
job and are cheap and easy to acquire. Install a plate in the rotor base=20
with a grommet to bring the pig tail out, seal with silicone if necessary.
