[Yaesu] Why does anyone ship UPS?

I've used UPS and FedEx a lot. Only an occasional minor delay in
getting the shipment to its destination. Although FedEx did blow it
once getting a shipment to me. They delivered it to the wrong
address. I called them to check and they said they left it at the
proper address and put it inside the screen door. I found that
interesting because I don't have a screen door. I went to the house
where they left the pkg and the people were cool about it and gave
it to me (small place in the hills where we all know each other).
