[Yaesu] Why does anyone ship UPS?

Why use UPS?  Cost.

AFAIK, it's more expensive to ship a package via Fed-X or Airborne.  UPS is cheaper than the postal service many times.  And the service is very reliable.  I myself am generally very happy with UPS service.

Many hams dislike UPS because of the 220 MHz debacle about 12 years ago.  That sucked, but that's a whole 'nother story!
