[Yaesu] FT2200

Hi 

I have a FT2200 with a volume control problem, runs wide open , but if I 
push down on the control knob it will lower the volume, have been told that this 
is due to a broken grnd connection, my problem is finding the connection, need a 
pictorial or the manual for the rig , can anyone help,? e-mailed yaesu but never 
received an ans.
