I don't think some kind of filter will help, the noise blanker in my
FT-990 reduces lots of kinds of noise, it removes atmospheric HISS
sometimes, sometimes it doesn't. I don't know why it isn't consistent,
probably the nature of the noise. It did totally remove the electric fence
noise when I lived on the farm, except twice just after rains.
You didn't say if your interest is CW or phone. (mostly)
You might be able to run your received audio through an audio equalizer
or through a computer's sound card running a DSP kind of program.
