[Yaesu] Buy a used rig

Here is my situation. I live above a subway line here in  the city of Toronto. And there is no way for them to fix the problem of line noise, they just laugh. So my problem is I'm looking for a yaesu rig that can combat this line noise. Is there any model numbers I should be looking for that have a good filter notch system? This fried egg sound gives me a headache if I listen to it for more than 5min. You can't buy a clearspeach unit in canada without buying it in the US and with out paying  for the duty/taxes and money exchange. Thats a killer. Any thoughts on this is greatly apprecited.
