[Yaesu] Battery Packs

After checking on the web for replacement  nicad battery packs for my hand 
held 2M rig,  and finding prices from  38-80 bucks, plus shipping, I decided 
to check out the local  local battery shops that rebuilds battery packs. Here 
In the Cleveland, OH area, I found Bulldog Battery, and got an extra 50mah, 
for $22, with 2 days turnaround.

Man what a difference!  My handheld had been dying after an hour or two of 
mostly listening.  Now it lasts 3 months for the level of usage.

Check your yellow pages under Batteries, and make a few calls.  OR ask  your 
local 2M technical nets.
