[Yaesu] PSK-31 & FT-817

I have a strange problem with my FT-817 with HF PSK-31.
My FT-817 flawlessly works when set to USB mode, but
when switched to digital mode, it will not transmit.  Yes,
I set up for PSK31 USB and everything else specified in
the manual.  Digipan ver 1.6, Rigblaster, SoundBlaster and
a Pentium Two computer connect to a LDG Z-11 tuner and
dipole antenna.  Voice communication works on AM, FM
USB & LSB as does my CW key.  Any ideas why I get no
transmission or reception in Digital PSK31-U mode?
