First of all, I'd like to wish everyone on this list a joyfull and =
prosperous New Year and many a productive evening on the air!

Secondly, I have a procedural question about the FT-902DM. When =
operating CW, is there an internal offset between the indicated carrier =
frequency and the audio? For instance, with some Drake rigs in CW mode, =
the dial indicated the transmitted frequency and the receiver audio was =
automatically offset by 1Khz, a sort of built-in beat. Does the 902 =
series also do this? What brings this question up is that when I copy =
W1AW's CW at 14.0475 (or any of its freq's), I get about a 500 Hz tone. =
If I try to zero-beat the tone, the dial indicates something else. Is =
the dial out of calibration? The manual doesn't mention anything about =
this. The RX and TX clarifiers are off. Thanks in advance.
