Not to mention the severe degradation in 3rd- and 5th-order IMD products -

Please remember that the output power is adjustable. The FT-1000D is
capable of putting out a lot more than the normal 200 watts but why would
one want to push it so hard when this increase in power output won't be
noticeable on the air but it sure will be a lot hard on the rigs
