That's right.

Actually we have about 235 Volt. After I bought the FT-1000D (half a year
ago, used) I switched the primary winding of the FT-1000D from 220 Volt
(which was the standard) to 234 Volt (see page 5 of the manual). Before I
did this I measured some higher power output.

Hans:

Don't lose sight of the fact that your FT1000D operates on 250V and 99%
of USA works on 110V. The 250V power makes for less voltage drop on
the finals vs 115V, hence a bit more power output on 250V.
