[Yaesu] Yaesu FT-90

I'm actually selling mine, but I have enjoyed its operation when I did use
it (got an Icom as a gift and am putting the money from the Yaesu towards
grad school). The radio does get hot, but that's a no-brainer considering
its small size and ability to put out some power on two bands. Again, due
to size, the speaker is small, but that's an easy fix -- and almost
mandatory if you were ever to mount the actual radio out of sight, like in
your trunk, with the display up front.

I live in Albuquerque, NM where we have a ton of intermod, and have never
experienced any problems with it. The squelch can be set manually or
digitally. I prefer setting it manually so I can tighten it as needed --
but I've never had a problem with the squelch. So my opinion differs from
the gentleman below, but that's what you get when opinions are asked for.
:-)

73,
Brian, N5ZGT
